Terms of Service for Gmail Apps: Get Three Times and Task Manager

By using the Get Three Times Gmail App and/or the Task Manager Gmail App (collectively, the “Apps”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. Please read these terms carefully before using the Apps.

1. Description of Functionality

1.1 Get Three Times
The Get Three Times Gmail App is a tool designed to generate and display three available time slots based on the selected date. It is accessed by clicking on the app icon within the Gmail sidebar. The App provides users with the ability to select a date using a date picker widget, and upon selection, it retrieves and displays three available time slots for that date. Users can update the displayed times by clicking on the “Update Time” button.

1.2 Email Task Manager
The Email Task Manager Gmail App helps users convert emails into scheduled calendar tasks. When an email is opened, the App allows users to add optional task notes, select a task duration (15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour), and create a Google Calendar event that includes the task notes and email context (sender, recipients, date, subject, and a link to the email thread). The App generates a Google Calendar URL that opens the calendar event creation interface with pre-populated information.

2. Use of the Apps

By using the Apps, you agree to use them solely for their intended purposes as described above. You must not use the Apps for any unlawful purposes or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functionality of the Apps or interfere with any other party’s use of the Apps.

3. Data Handling

The Apps do not collect or store any user data externally. All data generated by the Apps, including selected dates, displayed time slots, task notes, and email information, is stored locally on the user’s device within the Gmail interface or used temporarily to generate Google Calendar URLs. The Apps do not transmit any user data to external servers or databases operated by the developers. Please note that when using the Email Task Manager to create calendar events, your data will be transmitted to Google Calendar according to Google’s privacy policies.

4. Third-Party Services

The Email Task Manager App integrates with Google Calendar by generating URLs that open Google’s calendar event creation interface. Your use of Google Calendar is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The developers of these Apps are not responsible for Google’s services or policies.

5. Updates and Modifications

The developers of these Gmail Apps reserve the right to update or modify the functionality of the Apps at any time without prior notice. Such updates or modifications may include enhancements, bug fixes, or changes to the user interface. Users are encouraged to periodically check for updates and review the latest version of the Apps.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Gmail Apps are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representations or warranties, express or implied. The developers of the Apps make no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Apps for any particular purpose. Users acknowledge that the use of the Apps is at their own risk.
